Exercise can seem like a difficult thing to get motivated to do. And, once you’re engaged in it, it can feel like torture or non-stop suffering until it ends. Perhaps it seems counterintuitive, but the less frequently you exercise, the more difficult it is to motivate yourself to do it and the harder it is on your body. You might think otherwise, because you have longer to rest between workouts. However, by exercising more frequently, your body releases good-feeling endorphins that make exercise more enjoyable and you want to engage in it more.
