The application method is in the title of this tool: ask the same question again and again. Each time you ask, try to find new answers and reach for new insights. Do this in sessions over different days where you can sit and write down or record your answers. (See Brainstorm 1.8.) Designate either a specific amount of time to the tool or commit to continuing until you’ve filled a page with answers or come up with a certain number, or create your own goal for your answers.

Interestingly, you’ll often find there is no one right answer that reoeatedly comes up. So when you review your answers, you will find a little freedom in knowing you do not necessarily have to accept them as the ultimate truth.
